A Kirkintilloch bakery is celebrating making it two-in-a-row after being shortlisted to a prestigeous awards ceremony for the second successive year.
Last year saw Majella’s, based in Kirkintilloch’s Cowgate, recognised at the Scottish Bakery Awards for their sumptious strawberry tarts.
They ended up winning a bronze medal at the ceremony for tht tarts - made from scratch in the shop.
This year, they’re hoping to do even better after being shortlisted for their Scotch Pies
More than 400 people are expected to attend the glittering awards ceremony and dinner on Saturday, May 7, at Glasgow’s Crowne Plaza Hotel, where Majella’s will learn their fate.
Majella’s has only been open in Kirkintilloch for three and a half years, but has already tasted its fair share of success, previously winning Scottish Small Business of the Year.
