A new charity shop has opened in Bearsden - on Milngavie Road near Kessington Hall.
Save the Children opened to the public last week in the former property bureau next to Sainsbury’s supermarket opposite Kessington Hall.
The shop is selling clothing, bric a brac, toys and books and is being run entirely by volunteers.
Regional Manager Linda Kelly said: “The support from the surrounding community since we opened has been fantastic.
“We would also like to ask people in the local community if you have a spare morning or afternoon that you could volunteer in store then please pop in and speak to me.
“We would also appreciate any donations of clothing, bric a brac, toys or books.”
The shop is currently open Tuesday to Friday 10am to 5pm.
