Mugstock Music Festival is coming back to Mugdock at the end of July

One of Scotland's most intimate music festivals '˜Mugstock' is on again at the end of this month at Mugdock Country Park.

The festival, which is being held on the bank holiday weekend, Friday, July 29 to Sunday, July 31, will be headlined by Scottish singer, songwriter, and guitarist, and a founding member of The Delgados Emma Pollock, Scottish singer/songwriter Siobhan Wilson, Scottish hip-hop giants Stanley Odd and electronic dance music band Silicone Soul plus including Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5.

The Girobabies will also perform along with The Fast camels, Samba Ya Bamba, Supa & Da Kryptonites, Dohnut, Wolves, The Twistettes, Leanne and the Radix, James Edwyn and the Borrowed Band, Woodwife, DJ Rambunctious and many more.

There will also be an array of other entertainment on offer for adults and children including theatre, art, comedy, performance, crafts, nature trails, and food and drink.

Live music will include reggae, dub, soul, pop, and indie from several notable and award winning artists.

Now in its second year, this intimate festival is less than ten miles from Glasgow at Mugdock Country Park which is an idyllic natural location.

With a passion for quality live entertainment and a particular focus on social and family inclusion, the festival caters for all kinds of people.

At MugStock 2016 refugees and asylum seekers will go free to the festival, with 160 disadvantaged or minority people attending the festival free of charge.
