Mosshead Primary School PTA would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who attended their Spring Fair on Saturday, May 16.
They are very grateful for the wonderful support received from pupils, parents, grandparents, teachers, school staff and the wider family and friends of the school.
The fair was opened by local piper, Iain MacLeod who marched an army of children down Stockiemuir Avenue, Bearsden, waving their placards and daffodils. The piper’s grandchildren Alastair and Ishbel Albiston (both pupils at the school) then cut the bunting to open the event.
There were a wide variety of stalls, games and activities for all ages from lucky straws, pony rides, bouncy castles, laser tag and an outdoor BBQ to mention but a few! The weather was very mixed but this did not keep the crowds away and they raised £4,550 on the day. This would not have been possible without everyone’s support.
