Don’t forget to go along to Milngavie Makers Market this Saturday (June 4) from 10.30am to 4.30pm in Milngavie Town Hall.
American woman Jessica Stafford Cameron (32), who now lives in Milngavie, was so impressed by all the talented people in Scotland, and more locally, that she decided to start a monthly market which would give them the chance to showcase and sell their work.
Jessica will be there selling children’s books which are written by Jessica’s father-in-law Sir Roy Cameron (68) and illustrated by her.
There are a few spaces left for stalls - email firstname.lastname@example.org with examples of your work to apply.
So far stalls confirmed include Sad Panda Printing, All That is Braw kidswear and patterns, Back to Black Coffee, affordable sustainable jewellery from RedApple Handmade, Mauralen glass artist, Loch Lomond Rocks, Dixie Bakes - an Aussie pastry chef living in Glasgow, Nature/Nurture original artwork by Alison Brodie and many. many more.
