A talented fashion designer from Kirkintilloch showcased a collection of runway-ready garments at Scotland’s National Airshow which took place at the weekend.
Marjorie Fisher, a former pupil of Lenzie Academy, was among graduates from Jacqui Burke Fashion School in Dunbar who spent months working on a unique capsule collection of clothing.
Inspired by a bygone era, the garments were recycled from items such as a World War II parachute.
The stunning designs were exclusively exhibited at the National Museum of Flight in East Lothian on Saturday July 23.
Marjorie told the Herald: “I spent years working in IT but I’ve always been interested in fashion and textiles.
“I started off by enrolling on an evening class at the fashion school before I joined the pilot programme.”
