The fourth annual community fun day at Langfaulds Field in Bearsden will take place today (Saturday, August 29) from 1pm to 4.45pm.
Over 1,200 attended the event last year, making it the most successful fun day yet.
Last year the stars of the show were a state-of-the- art 24 ft (7.3m) mobile rock climbing and a new Spider Mountain. Both of these will be back again this year by popular demand.
Other favourites including children’s races, a brand new bouncy castle and a magician are among many of the attractions planned.
The organisers have also invited renowned Caulders Garden Centre of Mugdock Country Park to run workshops on what to do in your garden in autumn in one of the marquees.
A series of seminars on caring for the family will also be running throughout the day run by Care for the Family and BrightCare.
New Kilpatrick Scottish Country Dance Team will also be delighting the crowds with their dance steps.
And when you get hungry or thirsty the popular tents and Dominos Pizza will be there to replenish you.
This will all be rounded off with a dog show and jazz band.
One of the organisers, Alan Wells of Castlehill Baptist Church, said: “The community is clearly set for another successful day.
“This year it will be even bigger and better than last year.
“There will be something for people of all ages to enjoy including the chance to see and go on a new state of the art Spider Mountain and last years’ massively popular climbing wall.
“Last year in our reviews after the enormously successful event to which over a thousand people came confirmed what we always thought, communities love to get together.
“And we will be doing that all over again this Saturday, whatever the weather throws at us!
“Although we do have our fingers crossed for sunshine!”
