Join charity cycle from London to Paris

A CHILDREN’S charity needs keen cyclists to take part in a 300 mile cycle from London to Paris this summer.

Children Today, which helps disabled children and young people up to the age of 25 enjoy a better quality of life by providing them with the specialised equipment they need, is looking for people to join in the bike ride from July 11 to 15.

The adventure begins by riding through lush English countryside then crossing the Channel by ferry to France. The route then goes through beautiful villages and past many historical sites to arrive at the finishing line - the Eiffel Tower on infamous Bastille Day where everyone will celebrate their victory with their new found friends.

Ceri Ward, fundraiser for Children Today, said; “What a great event to take part in, imagine your sense of achievement as you cycle into Paris and knowing the money you have raised will make a real difference to a disabled child’s life.”

To take part you must be aged 18 and raise a minimum sponsorship of £1,400 (plus a registration fee of £99). Contact Ceri Ward on 01244 335622 or email for a free information pack.
