Jamie MacDougall’s concert has been rescheduled due to illness

Kilmardinny Music Circle (KMC) regrets to announce that, due to ill health, the concert on Friday, January 31 featuring Jamie MacDougall has been re-scheduled.

KMC is pleased to announce the new date for his concert ‘Burns, Heros and Inspirations’ will be Friday, April 4 at 7.30pm in Kilmardinny House, Bearsden.

He will perform his own tribute to the Bard with Michael Barnett on the piano.

All tickets purchased in advance for January 31 will be valid for April 4. Those unable to attend and would like a refund should contact KMC on 0141 956 1729 or email enquiries@kilmardinny.org

A spokesperson said: “We wish Jamie a speedy recovery and our next concert will be the Edinburgh String Quartet on Friday, March 7 at 7.30pm in Kilmardinny House, Bearsden.

Scotland’s leading quartet will perform string quartets by Haydn and Janacek and their second Schubert masterwork of the season, his great String Quartet No. 14 in D minor, “Death and the Maiden Quartet”.

Single tickets (non-members) cost £10/students and school pupils (16 and over) £5, school pupils (under 16 and accompanied by an adult) get in free. Memberships from £50 for full season and from £30 for half season.
