The Yes Bearsden/Milngavie campaign is holding public meetings aimed at those who are undecided about how they will vote in September’s referendum on Scottish independence.

Local Yes campaigner Alan Tollin said: “These meetings are a conversation – so please bring your questions, no matter how difficult or seemingly trivial.

“Our guest speakers will hopefully help you make an informed decision in September.”

The next meeting is in Kessington Hall, Bearsden, on Friday, March 21 at 7.30pm and the speakers are Maggie Chapman from the Scottish Green Party and Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp from Business for Scotland.

Milngavie Town Hall will host journalist Ruth Wishart and National Collective founding member and local writer Michael Gray on Thursday, March 27 at 7.30pm.

The meetings follow a After a meeting in Westerton last week in which Women for Independence activist and ex-Scottish Socialist Party MSP Rosie Kane spoke alongside Local Businessman Andy Lythgoe.

Bearsden and Milngavie Yes campaigner Allan Denovan said: “It was great to hear from Andy about just what resources Scotland has, and how we should use them to create a fair, better Scotland from Rosie.

“What an inspired way to give us the information the mainstream media are not telling us!”
