Hundreds turn out to Royston fun day

More than 500 residents from Royston turned out recently for a entertaining day of sport, fun and information.

The annual community event was organised by Royston Youth Action staff and volunteers at the local Rainbow Hall.

Local resident Mrs Hannah Simpson formally declared the event open which was followed by four hours of fun and entertainment.

Youth Action Chair Andrew Muir said: “It was fantastic to see so many local people enjoying themselves. I am indebted to everyone who helped.”
