A vital document helping to guide the future use of land in East Dunbartonshire has been published and a series of drop-in surgeries are now being held.
The proposed Local Development Plan (LDP) sets out a land use strategy for East Dunbartonshire – including policies and sites for development which will be used to determine planning applications.
You can see the report and find out more by visiting www.eastdunbarton.gov.uk/ldp.
Comments can be made until May 27 this year.
Reference copies of the document are available at community hubs, libraries and council buildings.
Alternatively, a number of drop-in sessions have been organised (from 3pm to 8pm) including one in the Fraser Centre in Milngavie on Monday, April 27, and one on Monday, May 11, in Bearsden Burgh Hall.
The website - www.eastdunbarton.gov.uk/ldp - includes a ‘how-to’ guide explaining the proposed plan, the planning process and how to comment.
