Police are appealing for assistance to help find a woman missing from Greenock since Monday July 4.
Karen Fairbairn (51) left her home in Nairn Street about 10am and is described as white, 5ft 4in with brown eyes and of a slim build. She has shoulder length brown hair and is believed to be wearing a pink raincoat, grey jeans and black trainers.
Sergeant Gary Lawrie, of Police Scotland said: “Mrs Fairbairn was last seen by a family friend in Glasgow Central Station around 11.30 hours on Monday morning.
“We have been carrying out enquiries with family and friends and also checking CCTV both locally and in Glasgow City Centre, but so far, there has been no further information regarding her wherabouts.
“Karen has not been missing before and if heading out will usually say where she is going but she didn’t do so on this occasion.
“She is close to her family and not to be in touch with them is unlike her and as such there is concern for her well-being.
“I would ask that she, or anyone who knows where she is, contact police or her family to let them or us know she is ok.”
Information can be passed to Greenock Police Office via 101.
