Flora, from Bearsden, attended the annual Kingarth Street Ladies’ Tea party at Hutchesons’ Grammar School and mingled with the other 90 former pupils at the reunion. She was especially pleased to catch up with current S4 pupil Flora Ritchie who was singing for the guests. The pair first met back in 2011 at the 100th anniversary of Kingarth Street tea party.

Flora is the school’s oldest former pupil and started at Kingarth Street in 1914 – just two years after the school opened its doors.

The former girls’ hockey captain celebrated her birthday – which she shares with Queen Elizabeth – with friends and family at the Antonine Care home on April 21.
