Girl (12) injured after road accident at Kirkintilloch
A 12-year-old girl was taken to hospital after a road accident at Kirkintilloch yesterday afternoon.
The youngster was hit by a vehicle around 4.30pm at Kilsyth Road near Ledgate.
A police spokesperson said she suffered a minor head injury and was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital at Glasgow and later released.
No charges have been brought as a result of the accident.
