PUPILS at Craigdhu Primary in Milngavie have been working hard preparing for the school’s Christmas Craft Fayre.
The event takes place in Milngavie Town Hall on Thursday, November 15 from 7.30pm until 9.30pm.
Now in its eighth year, the fayre is a well established and popular community event.
It is organised by Craigdhu Primary School PTA and was first run as a one off event in 2005 following a fire in the school which resulted in the hall not being available for regular events.
The fayre was so popular with sellers and attendees that it has become a regular feature of the Christmas calendar.
Thirty crafters, many from the Bearsden and Milngavie area, will sell handcrafted items perfect for Christmas gifts.
These include ceramics, candles, art, jewellery, soap, olive oil, accessories, children’s gifts, cards, home ware and Christmas decorations.
Children from Craigdhu Primary Enterprise will also have a stall selling handmade gifts.
Tea, coffee and mince pies will be available.
