THERE is lots on at Mugdock Country Park just now to keep visitors of all ages entertained.
Tomorrow (Saturday) children can develop their scavenging skills by scouring the park for photographic clues to find the location from which each photo was taken within the time limit.
Event is from 2pm to 4pm. Meet at the Visitor Centre, Mugdock Country Park.
There’s also a chance to learn the ancient art of longbow shooting with the Green Hollow Bowmen and the Ranger Service on Sunday between 1.45pm and 4pm.
This is a Junior Nature Club event and no parents are required, booking is essential with cost £1. To book, or for any further information, contact the ranger service at the park.
A family friendly event is being held on Tuesday in Lenzie from 1pm to 2.30pm. Parents can get their hands dirty with a taster in practical conservation work while their children have a fun time hunting for minibeasts nearby with a ranger. Meet at the Moss end of Lenzie Railway Station car park and follow the signs. Turn up and join in anytime, children must be accompanied by an adult. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and take stout footwear/wellies.
