Parents with very young children will be pleased to hear of a new cafe with soft play area that set this Saturday at Edenmill Farm Shop in Blanefield.

The farm which is under new ownership will be welcoming people to the new facilities from 10am this week which will also include free activities, such as climbing wall, face painting, treasure hunt, bouncy castle and more!

The shop, cafe and soft play (which is not free) is situated directly on the new John Muir Way walking and cycling route in Blanefield, and just five minutes’ drive from the Queens View/Whangie walk.

The new cafe will use some of the local award-winning ingredients from their own farm and their best loved suppliers to create a full range of Scottish and world-wide favourite dishes.

Natalie Miller, marketing manager of the new cafe and soft play area, said: “I can’t wait to officially open the cafe doors, we have been working hard over the past few months to create this welcoming cafe which affords stunning views of the countryside, together with our brand new soft play barn, which is a great way for kids up to the age of nine to go wild, while their parents enjoy some home cooked food or delicious home baking.”

Natalie added: “We have built up lots of interest over the past few months via social media platforms and are really looking forward to welcoming everyone.”
