The one mile run will start at 11.30am and all runners will receive a medal.
The gala day, based at Westerton Community Hall on Maxwell Avenue, Bearsden, will also have a Gala Queen crowning and parade and loads of other activities including a craft fair, donkey rides, henna tattoos, photo booth, archery, Nerf gun wars, a toddler zone with face painting.
The Great Gala Bake Off is also back by popular demand after its success last year and the animal man will be there with some interesting creatures for children to hold.
