FOUR cannabis plants and growing equipment were seized by police during an intelligence-led drugs search in Killearn.
A 63-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man were charged after community officers searched a property on Buchanan Road on Monday, February 20.
They are due to appear in court in Stirling at a later date.
The operation was led by officers from Balfron Station, with detectives from the drugs unit and specialist sniffer dogs.
Balfron-based community officer, PC David McNally, said: “No community in Scotland is safe from drug crime.
“Anyone who has any suspicions or concerns about illegal drug activity in their area should contact their local police office.
“Any information you pass on will be dealt with in complete confidence.”
