Housing and homelessness advisors across East Dunbartonshire who help people struggling with money and debt problems can now benefit from expert training by Shelter Scotland.
The charity has gained official accreditation under the Money Advice Service (MAS) Quality Framework for Individuals for its Introduction to Debt Advice training course.
Shelter Scotland’s training team offers e-learning and face-to-face courses on housing law, welfare reform and skills.
George Drennan-Lang, head of business development at Shelter Scotland, said: “A well trained advisor can make all the difference between a successful outcome for people struggling with debt and a crisis. We look forward to working with MAS to ensure our courses continue to offer the highest quality of training for professionals.”
