A male cyclist was rushed to hospital last night after he fell off his bike on Milngavie Road at about 5.30pm.
The cyclist in his late 20’s was taken on a stretcher to an ambulance and then to the new Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with hand and knee injuries.
No other vehicle was involved.
It happened near Reid Avenue and caused traffic delays.
An eyewitness said: “He looked in a bad way, I hope he’s OK.”
Police Scotland say no report was made to them regarding this incident and they had not recived a complaint.
