Thugs in Bishopbriggs accused of deliberately pitching golf balls at passing motorists

One driver said a ball narrowly missed her car window and made “a nice dent” in the side door.

The latest incident happened on Tuesday afternoon at Auchinairn Road.

She warned others on social media and posted: “Thought it was an accident until I seen several others hit the road in front of me!

"What is wrong with people?”

Other residents said the same thing had happened to them, with one posting: “Happened to me a few Fridays back. Driving along Auchinairn Road. Surprised my windscreen wasnt smashed.”

Anyone who witnessed any of the incidents have been advised to call police on 101.
