Police release CCTV image after threatening incident on cycle path at Bishopbriggs

Police have released the image of a man in connection with their investigation into an incident on a cycle path near Bishopbriggs Leisuredome.

Officers say they are continuing to investigate a report of threatening and abusive conduct that occurred on the path around 6pm on Tuesday, 19 May, 2020.

They believe that the man shown in the image may have information that could assist them with their investigation and would ask any members of the public who recognise him to come forward.

Detective Sergeant Juan Carlos Arias de Leon, of Kirkintilloch CID, said: “Anyone who recognises the man in the image is asked to speak to us.

“I would also ask anyone who witnessed the incident who has not yet spoken to police to contact us via 101 quoting reference number 2999 of 19 May 2020. Alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained.”
