Bearsden family’s plea after home is robbed

A Bearsden family whose house was robbed have put out an appeal to people who may be offered second-hand computer equipment.

The home was broken into over the past couple of days near Lullaby Lane Nursery at Westerton.

The family posted on a community Facebook group that valuables were taken and drawers rifled through.

A number of laptops were stolen which included valuable work.

They added they would like to hear if anyone comes across any of the items for sale second hand.

These include: MacBook Pro 15”; Lenovo Thinkpad; Black Acer laptop, Optoma HD29 He projector (white) plus HDMI and audio cables and a Playstation 4with green controller.

Local residents expressed their shock and support for the family on the Facebook page.

Anyone with any information or who is offered the stolen items should contact police on 101.
