Craig and Stephen’s charity beard bet

Craig Stewart, who lives in Braidwood, and Stephen Clark, from Law, made the bonkers bet more than three months ago.

And their unshaven beards have remained intact ever since.

When both men realised that neither of them was going to capitulate into a shaving surrender, they decided to raise money for Cancer Research UK instead.

The bet, described as The Great British Beard Off, has now raised almost £1,100 for the charity with more coming in every day.
