Crafty kids get creative

Beloved children's author Roald Dahl was the inspiration for a '˜Whoopsy Splunkers' craft event held at Lenzie Library last week for children aged 5-12.

They received expert tuition to make a range of impressive creations based on the writer’s many characters, including (above) Fantastic Mr Fox.

It is just one of a whole series of activities that have been organised for youngsters over the summer holidays.
