Concert to mark two more years of Fairtrade

A special concert has been organised to celebrate Lenzie's Fairtrade Town Status being renewed until 2018.

Lenzie gets Fairtrade Town Status in 2013

Organised by the Lenzie Fairtrade Group, ‘A Musical Treat for Fairtrade’ will be held at Lenzie Union Parish Church on Monday, September 19, from 7pm.

It will be hosted by local musician Donald Macleod, a former performer with the RSNO.

He will also conduct Cathedral Strings who will play a selction of well-known classical pieces.

Also performing will be Arcara, a recorder group whose performance was enthusiastically received at the Campsie Mayfest earlier this year.

Entry will be £5 adult/children free.
