Milngavie’s popular ice-cream shop Colpi is going to be featured in Scotland’s Ice Cream Trail, which launched at the beginning of the month.
This initiative is organised by Visit Scotland and Events Scotland as part of the 2015 Year of Food and Drink which celebrates the country’s rich natural larder and unique dinig experiences and aims to promote ice cream as a local Scottish food.
The trail includes 100 ice cream outlets from Orkney down to Dumfries.
Terri Colpi, business development director at Colpi, said: “Naturally, we are delighted to be featured on the Ice Cream Trail, not only helping to encourage people to shop locally but also helping promote Milngavie as a destination.
“We’ve already had several customers from far afield who have mentioned the Trail.”
