Burnbrae Residents’ Association is holding its AGM with cheese and wine in Kilmardinny House, Bearsden, on Thursday, April 16, at 7.30pm.
Inspector John Hunter, prospective East Dunbartonshire MP Jo Swinson, Councillor Duncan Cumming and Gordon Cox from Bearsden North Community Council will be there. They also hope to have representatives from the council’s roads and planning departments.
The seagull menace, right of way access, A81 Road Improvement Plan, winter road maintenance and the poor state of the roads will be on the agenda, along with updates on the Bearsden Hub, local planning applications, the new Waitrose and planned housing development at Kilmardinny/Westpark.
The Association also urgently needs new committee members to continue to campaign effectively.
