Body found thought to be missing Shawlands man

A body recovered from the river Cart is thought to be that of a missing Shawlands man.

Bryan Carroll (40) was reported missing from his southside home on Saturday.

The body of a man was recovered from the Cathcart river on Sunday.

A post-mortem examination will be held to establish the cause of death, and police have said that there do no appear to be any suspicious circumstances.
