Body found in search for missing Bishopbriggs man
A body has been found in the search for a missing Bishopbriggs man.
Police can confirm that the body of a man was found near Wallacewell Road in Glasgow around 9.15am on Tuesday, 11 August.
The family of missing man William Thom, who had been missing from Bishopbriggs since Wednesday, 5 August, have been made aware of the discovery.
Formal identification is yet to take place and a post mortem will carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
