Bearsden woman doing 20-mile trek for Crohn’s


Bearsden woman Liz Gallacher is tackling a 20-mile 
charity walk on Saturday in memory of her husband to help fund a vaccine for Crohn’s disease.

Liz is being joined by three friends to walk from Loch 
Lomond to Glasgow to help raise the £470,000 needed for clinical trials for the vaccine which has been developed at King’s College research university in London.

Her husband Billy passed away in 1995 from Crohn’s complicated by bowel cancer, aged 33. To donate, visit
