Plans for the refurbishment and extension of Kilmardinny House in Bearsden are moving forward.
Local residents and centre users are being invited to an information session to find out more.
Outline designs for the planned improvement works at the popular Grade A listed arts centre will be unveiled at the event, where council and EDLC Trust representatives will be on hand to answer questions.
The information session takes pace on Thursday, April 23, from 6pm-8pm in Kilmardinny House, 50 Kilmardinny Avenue, Bearsden.
Councillor Alan Moir, convener of East Dunbartonshire Council’s Development & Regeneration Committee,said: “Kilmardinny House is a well-established and much loved local asset that is well used by many groups and organisations who will be excited to see what is in store for this magnificent building.
“I’d urge anyone with an interest to attend on the night and learn more.”
Scott Hill, Chair of the East Dunbartonshire Leisure & Culture Trust, said: “This exciting project promises to breathe new life into Kilmardinny House as major repairs are planned for the existing house and a new extension is planned.
“This will enable us to continue to support the diverse range of arts, culture and leisure services the House is renowned for.”
