Balmore’s blooming lovely thanks to blossoming new partnership

Balmore Community Council has agreed to take on responsibility for maintaining the flower bed at the entrance of the village – with spectacular results. East Dunbartonshire Council’s Streetscene Technical Support Team provided expert advice on establishing a floral meadow, as well as the seed mix, which is specially designed to provide an extended display of colour while also being biodiversity friendly. Councillor Ashay Ghai is pictured with Jackie Gillespie and Jane Logan Chair from Balmore Community Council.
