MILNGAVIE Art Club marked the opening of its annual exhibition on Saturday, June 2, with almost 200 new exhibits.

The club was established in 1915 and has exhibited at the Lillie Art Gallery on Station Road, Milngavie, every year for the past half a century.

This year’s exhibition features new works by local artists on the themes of landscape, still life and figure studies.

There are also wall hangings, sculpture and ceramics featured in the exhibition - which runs until July 6.

The winner of the Millennium Quaich Award was Hedy Nowak.

The gallery is open between Tuesday and Saturday, from 10am to 1pm, and 2pm to 5pm. Admission is free.
