They were attacked by the gang before being pushed to the ground.

The 33-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he was treated for a head injury. The 43-year-old man received minor injuries.

Police have appealed for people who may have witnessed the assault to come forward.

“We believe that the suspects had been in one of the pubs in Hope Street between Argyle Street and Waterloo Street.”
