A woman is looking for the two heroes who came to the aid of her dad after he suffered a heart attack behind the wheel of his van.
Amy Bannister (23) reckons the good samaritans saved her dad Chris’s life.
The 50-year-old painter and decorator from Lenzie was driving to a job when he became ill and was forced to pull his van over to the side of the road.
He got out of the vehicle and collapsed on the grass verge of the A71 just outside irvine in Ayrshire.
Amy said two strangers known only as Kat and Stuart stopped to help him and phoned an ambulance.
They then contacted Chris’s family and looked after him at the roadside.
Amy said: “I will be forever grateful to Kat and Stuart for saving my dad’s life. If they hand’t stopped and helped him, I don’t think he would be alive just now.”
Chris is recovering from his heart attack in hospital and is now on the mend.
Amy took to social media on Tuesday night to try to track down the couple who helped her dad.
The two even called the hospital to getfind out if Chris was on the mend.
Amy said: “I just want to thank the the people who saved him. All you hear about is people being selfish in the world but this is just incredible.
“Without their assistance, I dread to think what the outcome may have been.”
