A fascinating historical talk about the Baldernock Mills is new topic of meeting

“The Mills of Baldernock” will be the topic of a talk by Paul Bishop, Professor of Geography at Glasgow University, at the next meeting of the National Trust Members group in Milngavie Town Hall on Wednesday January 15 at 7.30pm.

Due to an urgent other commitment the speaker about fraud and skulduggery in Glasgow’s West is unavailable but it’s hoped that he can reschedule for a future meeting.

The mills were used for the dyeing industry which enabled the development of Milngavie to be the thriving town it is today. Free to members or £3 for visitors.
