A spokesperson from the park said: “We appreciate that people will be getting out to exercise, walk their dogs and get the kids out in the fresh air,.”

However, they added: “Please consider if your journey to Mugdock is necessary and in line with Government guidance, especially at
weekends when it can get
extremely busy.

“We would also ask that you are mindful of current weather conditions that may hinder driving conditions to the Park.”

Facilities at Mugdock Country Park will remain closed although the Stables Tearoom will be open to offer a takeaway service only.

The main car park will be open from 9am to 6.30pm each day and there are smaller outlying car parks that can be accessed as well.

The country park
telephone is currently unmanned but staff are still checking the office email ([email protected]) throughout the day.
