Billington's win award for their 'Lenzie Gin'

The popular local venue took a silver award in the 2021 competition for their Lenzie Gin, beating hundreds of competitors.

Billington’s tweeted: “So pleased to announce we picked up Silver today at the Scottish Food and Drink Awards in the Gin Category for @lenziegin.”

Sue Billington, who co-owns the deli with husband Mark, added: “It’s a great tribute to our fantastic team who have worked tirelessly during the pandemic.”

Mark and Sue opened their delicatessen in November 2012 with a view to specialise in artisan and locally sourced products, and the venue is a huge hit with locals .
