The Southside Souk is back in action and bartering for your attention this Saturday.

The multicultural market — at The Old Barn in Pollok Park — launched in June, with organiser Mel Grossman, of Habibi Kitchen, promising “a place for people of different backgrounds to showcase the products they’re making.

“The Southside Souk is a bid to recognise all the different cultures in Glasgow, and celebrate them — celebrate what multiculturalism can do.”

Expect food from across the globe, free workshops and handcrafted items, as well as entertainment courtesy of the Osiligi Maasai Warriors, a seven-piece from Kenya performing tribal song and dance.

The September Southside Souk will be rounded off by a yoga beats class at 5pm — to find out more, visit the Facebook page.
