Almost 250 players from all over the world will converge on Glasgow’s Emirates Arena from November 19-23 for the Scottish Open Badminton Grand Prix.
And the Herald has teamed up with BADMINTONscotland to offer five lucky readers the chance to win a pair of season tickets to watch all five days of action including the final on Sunday, November 23.
The event has attracted a star-studded line-up with players representing 31 nations.
Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games silver medallist Kirsty Gilmour and Commonwealth bronze medallists and defending champions Robert Blair and Imogen Bankier will lead the home challenge.
They will be up against a host of international stars such as Bulgarian International champion Beatriz Corrales of Spain and Canada Grand Prix champions Mex Schwenger and Carla Nelte of Germany, as well as some of the world’s best players from countries including Chinese Taipei, Denmark, England, France, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Poland, Russia and Singapore.
