WEST of Scotland Football Club will line up against Cartha Queens Park this Saturday for the thid time this season.
This fixture is the return leg of the Regional Cup and Cartha have run out winners in both previous fixtures.
West’s head coach Ewan Smith said: “This last few weeks have been really hard for the boys. With the wet weather and now the lowering temperatures we have been unable to get on to the training pitches.
“We have been focusing on some basic skills and some fitness indoors which has been good fun and well received by the players.
“It has also given a few of our players who have been carrying a few niggles and knocks the chance to rest up. “Looking at the weather forecast this weekend’s fixture is already in doubt which isn’t ideal as trying to reschedule games always provides a headache.
“We have no new injury concerns at the moment but again a few players are unavailable due to work and other commitments.
“The boys are raring to go to put right a lot of the wrongs shown in our last display against Hamilton so we are hoping for a major thaw and a major performance this weekend.
“Thanks again to our supporters and club sponsors for their continued efforts.”
Kick-off on Saturday is 2pm.
