Thistle’s away win drought broken in style

A HAT-TRICK from striker Steven Craig and a goal from Ross Forbes gave Partick Thistle a convincing 4-0 win against Dunfermline at East End Park on Saturday.

This was the first league away win since September and the game was effectively sewn-up after little more than half an hour.

Craig’s first came in the third minute after he was fed the ball by Forbes to bundle the ball into the net.

Forbes doubled the lead on 15 minutes with a fierce low shot from almost 30 yards out.

Stuart Bannigan then passed the ball through to Craig for him to run clear for number three on 22 minutes.

Eleven minutes later Craig was in the thick of it to tap in his hat-trick.
