Thistle come from behind to secure all three vital points

Partick Thistle secured all three points after coming from behind in a thrilling encounter against Kilmarmock at Rugyb Park on Saturday.

The home side went ahead after Vitalijs Maksimenko scored from a corner in the 57th minute.

But Thistle’s Kallum Higginbotham responded with a free-kick evading the impressive Craig Samson to level before Aaron Taylor-Sinclair headed Thistle into the lead with five minutes of full time left to play.

The Firhill side now jump two points clear of Ross County in the table and out of the relegation play-off spot.
