PARTICK Thistle gave up a two goal lead at Cappielow for Morton to come back and level the score in this top of the table clash.
Chris Erskine found the back of the net with the first after just nine minutes and had to wait until two minutes into the second half for the next. Aaron Sinclair was able to deliver the ball back into the Morton box and at the back post Steven Craig was left with the simple task of heading the ball in.
But Morton fought back. In the 58th minute Peter MacDonald hit a low drive which skidded past Scott Fox into the bottom corner of the net.
And with just 10 minutes remaining Morton levelled the score with a penalty. In an attempting to block the ball it struck the hand of Hugh Murray and referee Norris pointed to the spot. After Murray had been booked, MacDonald made no mistake with a confidently struck shot.
