BEARSDEN skier Dougie Crawford is hosting a fundraising race day at Bearsden Ski Club on Saturday to help support his World Cup and Olympic qualifying campaign.
Dougie (25) is now Scotland’s only World Cup ski racer after the retirement of Noel Baxter, the brother of Olympic medallist Alain.
He is facing a tough battle to be able to afford representing his country at international level this season after British Ski and Snowboard pulled their funding.
Dougie has won several British titles across four disciplines and has proven himself on the world stage.
The skier will host a fun race day for competitors of all ages at his local ski club in Bearsden, where he learned to ski as a child.
The race day is open to all ages and abilities.
For entry forms and more information go to www.DougieCrawford.com.
Entries will be accepted up to 1pm on Saturday.
