Six of the best as Partick Thistle thrash Livingston

ParTICK Thistle made it six wins in a row with a six goal blitz of Livingston on Saturday.

Although Livingston pulled one back after half time it was really all one way traffic at Firhill and a fitting performance to mark manager Alan Archibald’s appointment to the post permanently.

The first goal came in the 19th minute with Aaron Muirhead’s penalty shot. This was doubled three minutes later with a Steven Craig header.

Before half time goals came from James Craigen on 36 minutes and Steven Lawless two minutes from the break.

Despite Livingston scoring a minute after the restart, it was not the start of a comeback as Chris Erskine and Kris Doolan scored on 57 and 69 minutes.
