Sevens win for Endrick

NINE teams took part in Strathendrick’s revived Seven-a-sides rugby tournament at Fintry on Saturday with the hosts winning the Cup competition, followed by Falkirk who won the Shield and Stirling Country lifting the Plate.

In near perfect conditions the spectators were treated to some very entertaining rugby.

The teams were organised in three pools of three with each side playing each other. After the qualifying rounds the top team in each pool went into the Cup Competition, the runners-up into the Shield Competition and the the bottom team into the Plate Competition.
